Sunburst Sea, 2019


A mixed media animation inspired by the ambivalence of everything that exists. This film particularly focuses on the ambivalence of having vivid imagination, of experiencing love, and self image.

This film was me trying to come to terms with life’s negative side - trying to accept it as something that is unescapable. I specifically struggled with the unconscious, since this is something no one has any control over, which terrifies me.  This influences how I view myself and the important things in my life, since there is always an underlying factor of fear of myself and others.

I worked in Autodesk Maya, 3DCoat and Adobe After Effects.
